What is wrong?
Civilians are dying in Lebanon and the UN and the whole world are not doing anything because it’s a war against terrorism?!
It’s a war against Country, in fact two countries the 1st one is Palestine and the 2nd one is Lebanon.
I’ve already talked about the Palestine thing, so let me talk about the Lebanon so called war against terrorism.
The Israelis goals are not to only to destroy Hezzballah but Israel wants to destroy the whole Lebanese infrastructure.
The 1st strike was to the airport (bye bye tourism), No more tourist will come, every single flight to Lebanon was canceled and the experts say that everyday this war coast Lebanon more the 100 million dollars!!!
Maybe most of the Lebanese economy is base on tourism and Lebanon tourism is dead now and I don’t think it will restore not even after 3 or 4 years.
Now some may say it’s all Hezzballah fault, yes it’s might be, but come on all this for two soldiers? More than 600 civilians were killed and they say it’s for the two soldiers? If Israel agreed to trade hostages then non of this would’ve happened (and don’t tell me nothing it’s Israel who refuses to release the Lebanese hostages so Hezzballah did what they had to do it might not sound right but it’s the only thing that was left to do).
And the funniest thing that the US government is helping Israel with missiles and bombs so they can keep the PEACE in the area?!! And Israel is having there kids signing on missiles to Lebanon (I don’t know who is the terrorist?? If Arabs do that then we are killers but its ok when Israelis kids do it!!!! What a punch of hypocrites).
It’s no more than a plan to ruin Lebanon and spread terror in order to make the NEW middle east…

I tell you Thamood - I don't find words anymore for what's going on - and that does happen very rarely to me. The worst - the ENTIRE WORLD, Western and Arab alike - sits in awe, maybe talks ... and waits! In the menatime people die and are terrorised .. nobody cares!
They successfully destroyed the entire infrastructure and in the meantime 900-plus people are dead already, a third of them children. I'm in constant touch with people there, per net of course - I HAVE to know what's going on! Even we don't know one another personally, we kind of became friends .. after all, a friend in need is a friend indeed.
It's interesting - NOBODY ever mentioned the two brothers, a doctor and his brother, who were abducted FROM LEBANESE SOIL a few days BEFORE the Israeli soldiers were snatched! I wonder why ...
Lebanon will stand up again and be prettier than ever, I am concinced. The people are wonderful, resiliant and proud - they will NEVER go down to their knees and SUCH people I HIGHLY respect!!
That KIDS sign missiles which in return are launched to kill ... kids, is the most tasteless thing I ever saw and heard! They lost every iota of humanity, of compassion ... bt what they sowed the last three weeks, they will harvest, I am sure!! Israelis - as tourists - won't be welcome at MANY places on this planet anymore ... and peace or even friendly relation with ANY Arab country they can forget as well.
The TOTALLY discredited themselves in my eyes ... and judged themselves.

thank you Karin for your words that shows that there is some good left out there, but the problem is most people in the west think the opistite, they think we are tererost, and we are the ones teaching are kids to kill,i just hate the media.

Sadly enough you're right, but less than you think. I am doing my part though to counter that - and educate .. it is VERY HARD! People are totally brainwashed ...
There are QUITE many people around here who do NOT support Israel in this conflict ... that gives me hope!
No no Thamood - you guys are NO terrorists at ALL but wonderful folks, warm, compassionate and - VERY hospitable and ... simply lovely people! I don't personally know people from Yemen per-se but met lots of Arabs during my travels - that's sufficient for me to judge. Don't think the WHOLE West is this way - the American opinion is not very highly valued around here at ALL anymore ... thanks to Bush, Condy, Rumsfeld and Cheney!
